【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthecharacteristicsofa300mmopticaldiskcartridge(ODC)ofTypeWORM(WriteOnceReadMany)usingirreversibleeffects,withacapacityof30Gbytes.ThisWORMODC'suseswritingeffectsthatareinherentlyirreversible.Writtenmarkscannotbeerasedandattemptedmodificationsofthewrittenmarksaredetectable.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies-theconditionsforconformancetestingandtheReferenceDrive;-theenvironmentsinwhichthecartridgesaretobeoperatedandstored;-themechanical,physicalanddimensionalcharacteristicsofthecartridge,soastoprovidemechanicalinterchangeabilitybetweendataprocessingsystems;-theformatoftheinformationonthedisk,bothpre-writtenanduser-written,includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectioncodes,themodulationmethodsused;-thecharacteristicsoftheprerecordedinformationonthedisk;-therecordingcharacteristicsofthedisk,enablingprocessingsystemstowritedataontothedisk;-theminimumqualityofuser-writtendataonthedisk,enablingdataprocessingsystemstoreaddatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesforinterchangebetweenopticaldiskdrives.Togetherwithastandardforvolumeandfilestructureitprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.
