【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversthecalculation,frominstrumentallymeasuredcolorcoordinatesbasedondaylightillumination,ofcolortolerancesandsmallcolordifferencesbetweenopaquespecimenssuchaspaintedpanels,plasticplaques,ortextileswatches.Whereitissuspectedthatthespecimensmaybemetameric,thatis,possessdifferentspectralcurvesthoughvisuallyalikeincolor,PracticeD4086shouldbeusedtoverifyinstrumentalresults.ThetolerancesanddifferencesdeterminedbytheseproceduresareexpressedintermsofapproximatelyuniformvisualcolorperceptioninCIE1976CIELABopponent-colorspace(1),CMCtoleranceunits(2),CIE94toleranceunits(3),theDIN99colordifferenceformulagiveninDIN6176(4),orthenewCIEDE2000colordifferenceunits(5).1.2Forproductspecification,thepurchaserandthesellershallagreeuponthepermissiblecolortolerancebetweentestspecimenandreferenceandtheprocedureforcalculatingthecolortolerance.Eachmaterialandconditionofusemayrequirespecificcolortolerancesbecauseotherappearancefactors,(forexample,specimenproximity,gloss,andtexture),mayaffectthecorrelationbetweenthemagnitudeofameasuredcolordifferenceanditscommercialacceptability.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
